THE PROGRAMME
A Global BBA (Bachelor in Business Administration) is an undergraduate degree focused on international business, covering traditional subjects such as business administration, marketing and finance, as well as global skills such as cross-cultural communication and globalisation. Most Global BBA programmes include a mandatory period abroad to reinforce the international experience.
A Global BBA prepares graduates to launch a successful international career in a wide variety of sectors. They will have a competitive advantage over other candidates who have not developed the analytical skills and strategic perspective that the programme offers. Most Global BBAs include professional experience, which provides further added value to the companies, institutions and organisations where students work after graduation.
EADA's undergraduate programmes are held 100% on campus. EADA Business School has three campuses: the Aragó Campus and the Provença Campus in the heart of Barcelona, and the Collbató Campus in the Montserrat Mountains outside of the city.
Both EADA and SKEMA Business Schools hold several internationally-recognised accreditations.

Yes, the EADA-SKEMA Global BBA programme is worth 240 ECTS credits and is recognised by the French Ministry of Higher Education as a Bachelor's degree in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). Upon graduation, students are eligible to pursue an M2 (Master's Degree).
All graduates of the Global BBA receive the following two diplomas:
- Official Bachelor’s degree worth 240 ECTS, accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education: Diplome d'Etudes Superieures en Management International des Entreprises - DESMIE ("Bachelor in International Business").
- Private degree from EADA Business School (Global BBA)
Graduates of the double degree Global BBA & Bachelor in Artificial Intelligence for Business receive a third degree worth 180 credits:

There is one intake every September.
No. Our undergraduate programmes are taught 100% in English and English is quite widely spoken in Barcelona.
However, as the fourth most spoken language in the world (second in terms of native speakers), we suggest that students take advantage of their time in Barcelona to learn the language. We strongly recommend that students who plan on staying in Spain after graduation to develop their professional career learn the local language.
Yes, EADA offers an optional online Spanish language course for all enrolled students. Participants receive the details of the course before their Bachelor’s begins and, following a level test, have until the end of the first trimester (December) to complete the course.
The Spanish course is completely optional and does not affect the grades of the Bachelor's.
Between 8-12 months of internship/professional experience are required to complete EADA's undergraduate programmes. This experience may take place at the home campus or during the periods abroad.
Our programmes integrate professional experience, so that students can apply the skills they are learning in the classroom in real operational environments. Students gain first-hand experience that makes them more competitive when applying for jobs. As an intern, they gain relevant skills to showcase later on their CV.
Our Careers & Talent Team provides the resources and opportunities for participants to succeed professionally, from the first internship to the negotiation of the offers after graduation. Each student works with a career advisor to explore areas of interest, select the academic path most aligned with their professional goals and access the best resources.
Global BBA
The Global BBA is designed to make participants into well-rounded, value-strong professionals with specialised know-how and the leadership skills to execute a strategic plan of action. The cross-disciplinary managerial skills developed in the Global BBA allow graduates to progress quickly towards senior management positions.

Double degree Global BBA & Bachelor in Artificial Intelligence for Business
Graduates of the double degree provide a unique added value to the company with a background in the fundamentals of management, marketing and finance complemented by a mastery of hardware and software architectures to optimise business.
They are ready for a wide range of opportunities, from business positions with a special need for digitalisation in areas like entrepreneurship, marketing, consulting, supply chain, strategy and line management to technical positions that require a deep understanding of AI such as software developer, AI specialist and technical architect. FINANCING
Tuition fees for the first year of the degree vary depending on the programme and the time of enrolment (i.e., early bird discounts, months left until the start of the programme, etc.).
A minimum enrolment fee of 10% is required to reserve the place in the programme within two weeks of receiving the admission results. The remaining tuition is generally divided into several installments. The later the student enrols, the higher the percentage of the initial deposit and the fewer the intallments. (The exact dates and installments appear on the enrolment form that candidates receive with the letter of admission.)
Remember that students who have paid the initial deposit to reserve a place are still required to pay the remaining installments of the tuition fee in a timely manner. Students who do not follow the established payment plan arisk losing their reservation in the programme as well as the initial deposit.
Students who choose to pay the whole annual tuition fee upon enrolment receive an extra 3% discount.
Yes. At EADA, we believe that education can change the world. For this reason, we support you in your undergraduate journey through a wide variety of scholarships designed to ensure that the best candidates don't get overlooked for financial reasons.
EADA awards scholarships to outstanding candidates who demonstrate the potential for superior performance in the programme. Scholarships are merit-based and cover from 10% to 25% of the programme fee. Candidates must apply for their chosen scholarship within one week of submitting their bachelor’s application. The will be notified of the scholarship results together with the bachelor’s admissions results.

Yes. The tuition fees of our partner institutions are included in the annual fee paid to EADA. This means that students who study from one to two years abroad will not be required too pay any additional tuition fees. Room, board, flights and any supplementary academic material must be paid by the student.
ELIGIBILITY
EADA does not have a specific track requirement for applicants to our undergraduate programmes. However, we do place a special emphasis on evaluating candidate’s performance in subjects including math, statistics, business and management.
Yes of course! If you have not finished high school yet, you do not need to upload your high school diploma on your application form. For your transcripts, you can provide the part of the transcripts from your last two years of studies plus your predicted grades of the current school year.
You can be admitted (and even enrol) without having turned in these documents. If you are admitted, the admission will be conditional on submitting the pending records at a later date.
EADA accepts transfer students in their second year of study in both of our undergraduate programmes. Whether you are looking to internationalise your studies, to customise your learning with specialisations, or to experience a personalised approach to learning in small groups, EADA is a great choice.
Transfer students must submit the full transcripts from their current institution and successfully complete the same admissions process as students entering in the first year. They must have completed a minimum of 60 ECTS credits in business-related curriculum in an official degree to be eligible to apply. pending review by the Admissions Committee.
EXAMS
EADA does not require candidates to submit the results of the “selectividad”. Candidates who have completed their education in Spain will need to submit proof of having completed their studies (“resguardo del título de bachillerato”).
Candidates are required to submit proof of their English level. The minimum recommended score is the equivalent to a B2 Level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This is equivalent to the following scores: TOEFL (72-94), IELTS (5.5-6), TOEIC (785-940), Cambridge (160-179). Our TOEFL school code is 7024. Scores are valid for two years from the date that the test is taken.
Native speakers and candidates who have completed at least a year of high school in English may be exempt from this requirement pending the Admissions Committee evaluation.

Candidates should keep in mind that a TOEFL score of at least 80 IBT is required to study abroad during the third and/or fourth year. All students will be required to present adequate TOEFL results by February of their second year.
ADMISSIONS PROCESS

We accept new candidates until the places in each programme are filled. For this reason, we recommend applying as soon as you have your application package ready for access to scholarships and timely completion of visa procedures (when necessary).
The duration of the admissions process varies largely from one candidate to another, but 5 weeks is the average time from the moment a candidate begins the application until he or she receives the final admission result. The main steps of the admissions process are:
- Complete the online application form
- Pay the 100€ application fee
- Complete an admissions interview
The longest and most arduous part of the admissions process is the application form as it entails writing the letter of motivation and collecting academic documentation as well as reference letters.
The initial evaluation of the application package by the Admissions Team can take from 3 days up to a month or longer depending on the pending documentation of the candidate. Candidates must pass the initial evaluation to move on to the interview phase.
Once candidates have completed the admissions interview. they receive a final answer about their admission within one week.
A letter of motivation expresses a candidate's interests, professional experiences and the reasons why they want to study at EADA.
Your letter of motivation is the most personalised document in your application package, and it is your opportunity to make yourself stand out from other candidates. In your letter, you should explain why you are a good fit for the programme and school. It’s an opportunity for you to describe in a personal way your motivation for applying and the experiences that have led you to this decision.
Three are many guides online to writing university letters of motivation, but here are some quick tips:
- Be yourself: Always use your own voice and avoid trying to be someone else for the benefit of the Admissions Committee. We are interested in getting to know the real you!
- Say why you are applying and what you expect: We want to know why you chose to apply for this specific programme at our institution. When writing your letter, be careful to prioritise interests, stories and achievements that correlate with the programme and institution. Think of how you will benefit from the programme and why you are motivated to attend the specific courses.
- Write in a simple and concise way: Focus on communicating the main ideas of your letter clearly. Use a logical structure to organise the content into paragraphs and delete anything that distracts from your main point.
- Share something about yourself: Include your interests and feelings when they correspond to the topic that you are writing about. Share a moment or a story about growth, learning, determination or reflection.
- Talk about the future: A university degree is a long-term commitment with a long-term impact on your future personal and professional life, so don’t be afraid to talk about the future. Even if you don’t have a clear idea of where you want to be in several years’ time, giving a hint about your future ambitions is important.
- Proofread: Proofreading is very important. Once you have corrected all of the grammar, punctuation and structural mistakes, give your letter to someone whose opinion you value and listen to their suggestions. After reading it so many times you may miss inconsistencies and gaps in logic that are easily visible with fresh eyes.
Candidates who have not yet completed their high school education at the time of application should submit their predicted grades for the current school year together with their application package. Predicted grades are provided by the school, and are the estimated grades for the applicant in their last year of studies.
The calculation of predicted grades differs from one educational system to another, but is generally based on the candidate’s overall academic performance during their previous years of study at the school.
Letters of recommendation are an integral part of your application at EADA and help the Admissions Committee make a holistic assessment of your application package.
A letter of recommendation is a short document typically written by a teacher, counselor, coach, director of extracurricular activities and/or clubs, community member or mentor highlighting your strengths, academic history, character, potential and/or goals.
The person that you ask to provide a recommendation letter should be someone who knows you well and is willing to endorse you. In order to present a well-rounded picture of who you are, you could ask a few different types of people to write your letters if possible. Be sure to give your referees a deadline for completing their letter of reference.
You can submit your letters of recommendation in letter format or ask them to complete EADA’s PDF recommendation form. You will be able to select which option you prefer in the “References” tab of the online application form.
- Option 1: Use this form in English or Spanish to request letters of recommendation. You can download the form and then send it directly to the people that you would like to complete it. Some candidates find it easier to use the form as it requires less work than writing a letter on the part of the referee.
- Option 2: Submit letters of recommendation in letter format. You can upload these directly onto the online application form in the “References” tab.
The interview is the final step in the admissions process. It is designed to evaluate your motivation, potential for personal and professional development and suitability for the programme. The interviewer will receive a copy of your complete application package and ask a series of questions to determine if you are a good fit for the programme.

The Admissions Committee makes a holistic evaluation of each candidate. This means that while we consider past academic performance and test scores, we also want to get to know you as a whole person.
At EADA, we use multiple sources of information to get the fullest picture of your potential, combining quantitative data with qualitative indicators such as letters of recommendation and extracurriculars. This enables us to get a more complete view of each applicant to fairly assess his or her fit in our programmes.
Once you are admitted, you will have a reservation for 15 days, which will give you time to enrol and start planning your year in Barcelona. In the spring, enrolled students receive access to the resources of our Student Relocation Provider to help with getting settled in the city. We also encourage students to connect before the programme begins through the Facebook group and welcome activities.
GETTING SETTLED IN BARCELONA
Students holding nationalities from the following 26 countries (in the Schengen Area) are not required to obtain a visa to study in Spain: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
Students holding nationalities from outside of the Schengen Area are required to obtain a student visa for Spain. The visa procedure can be completed from the home country or from Spain. In spring, all enrolled students receive the Welcome Book, a PDF with the details of the student visa procedure.
We are pleased to host more than 120 nationalities on the Global BBA campuses. With this in mind, upon successfully completing the application process and enrolling, EADA sends the academic documentation required for the visa process. (The visa process cannot be started more than 3 months before the start date of the programme, so these documents are sent out in spring.)
Students should keep in mind that additional personal documentation will be required, including but not limited to proof of health insurance, proof of financial means, Police Record Certificate, medical certificate, etc.
The visa process can vary from one consulate/embassy to another, although in most cases the student will be required to appear in person at least once. Students should be aware that the best source of accurate, up-to-date information is the local consulate/embassy where they will apply.
EADA recommends that all international students obtain private health insurance for the duration of their stay in Barcelona. You can obtain a policy in your home country or use a local health insurance provider. EADA currently collaborates with two different healthcare providers offering exclusive rates for our students (this health insurance meets the requirements for the Spanish study visa for students who require it). In spring, all enrolled students receive the Welcome Book, a PDF with the details of these healthcare options.
Students from the European Union U countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland can also apply for the European Health Insurance card, which gives them access to state provided healthcare during their stay. However, we recommend private healthcare coverage for all students to ensure that they have access to fast, flexible, hassle-free care in English (or Spanish).
Students coming from outside of the European Union should keep in mind that proof of health insurance is required for the Spanish student visa. This health insurance for the visa has very specific requirements. With this in mind, we recommend obtaining the health insurance that we recommend or researching alternatives that meet the requirements.
EADA provides the resources to ensure that our students find the housing option that is right for them through our Welcome Book and Student Relocation Provider (SRP).
In spring, all enrolled students receive the Welcome Book, a PDF with information about the different neighbourhoods in the city and housing options including students residences and flats. Students also attend orientation sessions hosted by our SRP, where they receive detailed information about all aspects of getting settled in Barcelona.
For families interested in more customised care, there is the option to purchase any one of a series of personalisable “welcome packs” . From simple rental contract revision to accompanying students and their families to visit flats, our SRP is tailor-made to get students settled in their new home as quickly and smoothly as possible.
The majority of participants choose to live in student residences or share flats and use public transport regularly. Most students arrive 1-3 weeks before the programme begins. Students can arrange their accommodation once they are in Barcelona, although we recommend arranging accommodation before arrival.
Living expenses in Barcelona are relatively low compared with those of other major European cities. Expenses vary widely depending on participants’ housing and lifestyle choices. The information provided here is an average based on current students’ expenses. The majority of participants choose to live in student residences or share flats and use public transport regularly.
Students should expect to spend between €1,110 - €2,070 per month, broken down as follows:
- Housing: €450 - €900
- Utilities: €100 - €200
- Food: €250 - €450
- Transport: €60 - €70
- Other expenses: €250 - €450
