Curriculum

To obtain the degree, students must complete the four compulsory modules, which include the Professional Placement and the Master's Dissertation, along with 22 credits in the specialisation. In order to reach the 27 elective credits planned in the curriculum, the remaining 5 elective credits must be completed from the "Electives" subject.

Competences

Basic competences

  1. Possess and understand knowledge that provides a basis or opportunity for originality in the development and/or application of ideas, often in a research context.
  2. Students are able to apply their acquired knowledge and problem-solving skills in new or unfamiliar environments within broader (or multidisciplinary) contexts related to their area of study.
  3. Students must be able to integrate knowledge and face the complexity of making judgements based on incomplete or limited information, including reflections on the social and ethical responsibilities linked to the application of their knowledge and judgements.

Make sensible use of information resources and ICT development, in order to decide which are the most suitable for managing the acquisition, structuring, analysis and visualisation of data and scientific-technical information, at the same time of critically assessing the results obtained and even promote the generation of new, more suitable resources.
