EADA - Training for managers with a human touch
EADA is a business school with a unique background. It is an ideologically and financially independent institution. Its raison d’être and existence stem from the desire of a group of professionals to offer society excellent training.
EADA is defined by its global vision and its belief in the values of equality, independence, personal development and academic excellence. The people involved with EADA during the institution’s more than 50 years of history have changed, but our values have remained firmly at the heart of everything we do. EADA’s status as a private, non-profit foundation, governed by a Trust, ensures our continuity and sustainability.
Founded in Barcelona in 1957, EADA was set up in 1984 as a private university foundation engaging in training, applied research and transfer of knowledge to the business world and society in an international context.
EADA is legitimised by two prestigious accreditations, recognised in the business schools field: the EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) accreditation and the AMBA (Association of MBAs) accreditation for its MBA programmes.
EADA is a global school, with a Barcelona City Center Campus in the heart of the city, and the Collbató Residential Training Campus, thirty minutes away, close to the Monserrat Mountains. It has a presence in different regions of the world through partnerships with other schools and due to the EADA Virtual Campus, which provides interaction at all times, and from anywhere.
As an organisation, EADA considers that social responsibility and the defence of global sustainability are principles that must be applied in its training programmes, alongside the goal of maximum business efficiency. For all this, its activity, development and expansion have been based and are developed through arrangements with strategic partners in different regions of the world. EADA also has partnerships with different universities that strengthen its position in the market for management education.
