EADA Annual Meeting 2025: more than 500 attendees connect with the future of entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership

29 April 2025

Last Friday, April 25, EADA Business School hosted the latest edition of its EADA Annual Meeting, bringing together more than 500 people, including entrepreneurs, experts, alumni, EADA staff, and business world representatives. Under the theme "Discover new ways to connect," the meeting was a vibrant blend of knowledge, inspiration, and human connection.

The day began with a focus on entrepreneurship from distinguished alumni. Diego Ramos, engineer and co-founder of Sekond, shared his experience validating circular economy projects applied to the textile sector. Ramos emphasized the importance of testing business ideas in real markets and building strong networks, while highlighting the need for adaptability and passion in any entrepreneurial journey.

Meanwhile, Mariano Najles, CEO of Las Muns, recounted his journey to position the Argentine empanada as a leading gastronomic product in Spain and other international markets. Najles explained his scalability strategy, centered on specialization, quality, and strong international branding, while always preserving the essence of his approach.

Innovation and leadership took center stage with a presentation by EADA professor Joan Albert García Moga, who analyzed the keys to Barcelona's success as a global innovation hub. Carles Brugarolas, director of the Strategy, Leadership, and People Department at EADA, offered a powerful metaphor for effective leadership based on the pillars of adherence, impact, and decisiveness

Transformation through artificial intelligence was the focus of other sessions. Scott Mackin, CEO and co-founder of Hello Operator, and Verónica Platas, HR innovation expert, addressed the challenges and opportunities of integrating AI into organizations, highlighting its strategic impact on talent management and training processes.

Sustainability in business was addressed through an interactive experience led by EADA professors and researchers Verónica Devenin, Desirée Knoppen, and Giorgia Miotto, who reflected on the urgent need to rethink business models to ensure a viable future for the planet.

In addition, attendees were introduced to the EADA Circular Community, a global space for Alumni that fosters networking, exclusive training, and international collaboration. Ambassadors such as Stephanie Hoyle (Peru), Inês Marques (Portugal), and Andrés Rubiano (Colombia) shared their testimonials about the community's positive impact on their personal and professional journeys.

Magic also had a role in this edition. Three master magicians—Sergi Armentano, Álex Gilabert, and Alexander Main—challenged participants' ingenuity, reinforcing key concepts about leadership, influence, and adaptability through surprising interactive experiences.

The EADA Annual Meeting 2025 was not only a top-level academic and business event but also incorporated innovative elements to make the day an unforgettable experience. A cocktail reception with live music closed the event, offering attendees a relaxed space for networking and exchanging ideas.

The EADA Annual Meeting 2025 demonstrated that the future lies in discovering new ways of connecting: with ideas, with people, with the planet, and with oneself.
