EADA Business School among the world's leading business schools for sustainability and ranked No. 1 in Spain in the Better World MBA Ranking 2026

EADA Business School has secured 11th place worldwide and ranks as the top business school in Spain in the Corporate Knights Better World MBA Ranking 2026, which recognises MBA programmes that integrate sustainability into management education and contribute to a more inclusive and responsible economy.

EADA has been recognised among the world's leading business schools for sustainability, achieving 11th place globally and first place in Spain in the Better World MBA Ranking 2026, compiled by Corporate Knights, a media and research organisation specialising in sustainability and responsible business.

The ranking recognises MBA programmes that prepare future business leaders to drive a more inclusive economy, creating benefits for both society and the natural environment. This result places EADA among the international institutions recognised for embedding purpose and sustainability into the education of the professionals who will lead tomorrow's organisations.

An international ranking focused on sustainability in MBA programmes

The 2026 edition of the Better World MBA Ranking assessed 179 MBA programmes worldwide, including the programmes featured in the Financial Times 2026 Global MBA Ranking.

Compiled by Corporate Knights, the ranking examines the extent to which business schools incorporate sustainable development into their academic programmes and how their alumni contribute to creating a positive impact on society and the environment.

The methodology is primarily based on two key performance indicators: the integration of sustainability into compulsory MBA courses and the professional impact of alumni. Together, these criteria assess both the education students receive and how they apply their knowledge in business and professional settings.

Management education with purpose and positive impact

Corporate Knights' methodology assigns 80% of the ranking's weighting to the integration of sustainability into core MBA courses. To assess this, it reviews learning outcomes and course descriptions to identify content related to sustainable development.

The remaining 20% measures alumni impact, based on the proportion of graduates working for organisations focused on generating a positive social or environmental impact, or in roles related to sustainability, the environment, safety and other related areas.

In addition, the ranking offers a bonus of up to 10% to schools that assess their students' sustainability knowledge through recognised standardised tests.

“Educating future leaders means preparing them to make decisions that consider not only business performance, but also the consequences of those decisions for people and the planet. This approach is essential to enabling organisations to respond to the major challenges of our time and contribute to a more inclusive and sustainable economy,” says Ella Boniuk, Director of EADA Business School Barcelona's International MBA.

EADA's commitment to responsible business leadership

EADA Business School's position in the Better World MBA Ranking 2026 represents international recognition of the importance of incorporating sustainability into management education. In a business environment shaped by major economic, social and environmental transformations, preparing professionals who can understand these challenges and take action to address them is increasingly important.

With its 11th-place global ranking among the 173 MBA programmes assessed and first place in Spain, EADA strengthens its position in an international ranking that focuses on sustainability education and the professional impact of graduates.
