EADA strengthens its mission with a new dual executive management team

1 September 2020

Jordi DíazEADA Business School enters a new phase of shared general management. Jordi Díaz, Director of Programmes and International Relations at EADA since 2008, will be the new Dean of the business school. His role includes the design and development of programmes both locally and internationally in any format (face-to-face, online and hybrid), accompanying the EADA Alumni Community (with more than 100,000 members), supporting companies that trust in EADA to train its teams, and building new international alliances that consolidate the prestige and international recognition of the institution.

At the same time, Isabel Jiménez, EADA's Financial Director since 2017, will be in charge of Corporate Management. Isabel will lead the operational and economic management of the institution's resources:  human, material and digital. Isabel's responsibility is also to guarantee quality training and a unique experience both in face-to-face and virtual classrooms, as well as anticipating new needs that arise in an environment as changing as the current one.

"Today more than ever we must respond to the training needs of any professional in any format", says Jordi Díaz. For this reason, he continues, “we are committed to the EADA Immersive Learning methodology, which offers the possibility of guaranteeing the continuity and quality of learning in any setting and in three formats (Face2Face, Online and Hybrid).”

Isabel Jiménez agrees and further comments that: “We live in a VUCA environment –volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous–, a new reality in which the challenge is to be resilient in order to adapt effectively and efficiently to circumstances. And that happens by renewing our portfolio of programs based on the new needs of companies, but also by guaranteeing a unique and memorable learning experience in a context of constant change.”

Sustainability, innovation and leadership

Isabel JiménezThe new shared general management team coincides with the new Presidency of the Board of Trustees of the EADA Foundation, led by Koke Pursals (CEO of PACCOR Iberia) and the partial renewal of the members of the Board, made up of managers with a long history in the business and academic and public world. All of this will reinforce the institution's mission –quality training, knowledge transfer to society, growth of leaders and companies– based on three fundamental axes: sustainability, innovation and leadership. As Jordi Díaz points out, "the differential value of our programs is that they not only enhance leadership skills to assume a management role in any organization, but also all those skills related to technology, innovation and sustainable commitment."

Proof of this is the new Lead Tech Global Executive MBA offered by EADA with École Des Ponts, a program that allows participants to learn about emerging technologies to turn complex issues into simple ones and make strategic decisions based on agile and analytical methodologies. Another example is the Online Master in Innovation and Business Sustainability, aimed at professionals who want to enhance their leadership skills to change the organizational culture of a company towards a more sustainable model with a greater social impact.
