New trends in training gain protagonism in talent management

25 June 2013

The Best Practices Meeting 2013 organised by Top Employers España was held on Tuesday June 18th. Various initiatives were presented by some of the companies certified at the previous edition of Top Employers, in addition to the most recent International Benchmark Report on Talent Management.

The forum also featured a series of talks on "Development, Professional Careers, and Leadership and performance" given by renowned experts in the field such as Pilar Jericó (Be Up), Lucía Langa (EADA Business School) and José María Gasalla (Talentum) along with three practical cases (AXA, PepsiCo and Makro).

Pilar Oncins, Human Resources manager at Makro, and Lucía Langa, Director of the EADA People Management Dept., highlighted the importance of leadership in change processes. “All change entails implicit elements of renouncement and loss but elements of learning and improvement as well. Only organisations that consciously decide to undergo a change process will be able to obtain positive results”, pointed out Langa. And she went on to say that "Change must be designed, it must be leadered and it must involve and be embraced by the entire organisation”.
