Christian Schmaltz
Christian holds a MA in Economics from Paris I, a MSc in Business Engineering from Karlsruhe University and a PhD in Banking from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. Apart from Academia, Christian has spent many years in the financial industry assisting banks and other intermediaries in improving their risk measurement- and management skills. Christian worked for Deloitte, Financial Risk Solutions (Germany, Düsseldorf) as well as for two London-based consulting companies with a focus on capital management and banking regulation. Currently, Christian holds an associate professor position at Aarhus university. He is affiliated to Aspect Advisory as a non-executive director. Christian is a frequent speaker on regulatory topics at industry conferences.
