PRIVACY POLICY: SOCIAL NETWORKS

1. Information regarding EADA and the processing of data contained on the official website of FUNDACIÓ PRIVADA UNIVERSITÀRIA EADA (ESCOLA D’ALTA DIRECCIÓ I ADMINISTRACIÓ) on social networks.

In compliance with the duty to provide information as established by (EU) Regulation 2016/679 of 27th April 2016 (hereinafter “GDPR”) and Organic Law 03/2018 of 5th December regarding the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights (hereinafter “LOPDGDD”) FUNDACIÓ PRIVADA UNIVERSITÀRIA EADA (ESCOLA D’ALTA DIRECCIÓ I ADMINISTRACIÓ), (hereinafter “EADA”), informs the users of social networks of the policy regarding the processing and protection of personal data of those persons who voluntarily access and use the EADA official website.

By accessing and using the official website which is owned by EADA, the user expressly agrees to this privacy policy and consents to the processing of their personal data as set out in this policy.

2. Data of minors or people with disabilities

The access and registration by minors under fourteen (14) years of age on this social network is prohibited. Minors under fourteen (14) are therefore also prohibited from accessing and using EADA’s official website on this social network. For people with disabilities, EADA informs that consent is required from the parents, guardians or legal representatives to be able to access and use EADA’s official website. EADA will be expressly exonerated from any responsibility that may arise from the use of the official website by minors or people with disabilities, the responsibility of which lies with the legal representatives in each case.

3. Identification of EADA as the Controller

The user is informed that EADA, which is officially registered at Calle Aragón, 204, Barcelona, Spain, is responsible for the files and processing through which the user’s personal data shall be collected and stored as a result of their registration and use of EADA’s official website, without prejudice to the processing carried out by the owner of the social network where EADA’s official website can be found.

4. Purposes of processing

The personal data which has been voluntarily provided by the user to EADA via the official website shall be processed under the responsibility of EADA, the purpose of which is to provide the user with information about EADA via email, fax, SMS, MMS, social communities or any other electronic or physical medium, which facilitates the communication of commercial material, the sending of newsletters to subscribers, the exchange of information with EADA and other users and to interact with third-party users.

From the moment in which the user starts using the current official website they give their express consent to the correct provision of services by EADA in accordance with the current policy.

The user is free to use EADA’s official web page. However, if the user does not agree with the aforementioned purposes for processing their data, they should not use the website or provide their personal data.

On the official website of EADA, the user may share texts, photographs, videos and other types of information and/or content, all of which are subject to the current policy as well as the terms and conditions of the social network. The user is responsible for ensuring that any content they publish is in accordance with existing legislation, the current policy and the terms and conditions of the social network.

The user may only publish personal data, photographs, information or other content which is owned by or pertains to the user or which has been authorised by a third party.

EADA has the right to delete, unilaterally and without previous notification or authorisation from the user, any content from the current official website which has been published by the user that infringes or breaches existing legislation, the terms of which are established by the current policy and the terms and conditions of the social network.

5. Recipients

The user is informed that any information and content they publish on the official website of EADA may be seen by the rest of the users of the official site and the social network. Accordingly, all the information and content published by the user on the official website of EADA will also be communicated to the rest of the users due to the nature of the service.

EADA shall only cede or communicate data to judges, tribunals, public administration and competent administration authorities when required to by existing legislation.

6. Other third-party service providers

EADA informs the user that this entity is only responsible for and guarantees the confidentiality, security and data processing in accordance with the current policy, regarding the personal data that it collects from the user via the current official web page on this social network. It shall not be held responsible in any way for the processing and subsequent use of the personal data by the owner of the social network, third-party service providers of the information society that could access such data as a result of the provision of their services or carrying out of their activity, or third-parties that establish hyperlinks on the social network.

7. Quality of the data

EADA informs the user that, unless established legal representation exists, no user may use the identity of another individual and communicate their personal data. The user must therefore be aware that at all times they may only provide personal data corresponding to their own identity and that this personal data should be appropriate, pertinent, up to date, exact and authentic. The user must always respect the privacy of third parties regardless of whether they are users of the social network or the official website of EADA.

8. The rights of the user:

The users may exercise the following rights with regards to their personal data: access, rectification, erasure, restriction to processing, portability of data and opposition in writing to FUNDACIÓN PRIVADA UNIVERSITARIA EADA, Calle Aragón, 204, 08011, Barcelona (Spain), or via e-mail at privacy@eada.edu. All correspondence must be accompanied by the appropriate identification document and/or information and should expressly indicate which of the aforementioned rights is being exercised.

Similarly, when processing the data of the user, the legitimisation of which is based on the consent granted by the interested party, they have the right to revoke said consent at any time, without it affecting the legality of the processing based on the consent granted prior to withdrawal.

We will consider all requests and a response will be sent within the time period established by applicable legislation. It is important to remember, however, that in some circumstances certain information may be exempt from said requests by including personal data that we need to continue to process for our legitimate interests or to comply with a legal obligation.

In all cases, the User has the right to lodge a complaint with the corresponding control authority if they deem it necessary.
