EADA, distinguished for the 'International Master's Programme'

16 June 2014

EADA has recently received the ‘International Quality Master’ distinction, awarded by the Universities and Research Department of the Generalitat de Catalunya, which is intended to promote studies with a high degree of internationalisation within the higher education system.

More specifically, the EADA Masters that have received this special mention are the Management, Marketing, Finance, Accounting and Finance and Tourism & Hospitality Management programmes. In order to further the internationalisation of these five courses, as regards the faculty as well as the international approach of the classes, the Generalitat has awarded EADA a subsidy of 5000 euros.

Promoting the school’s International Competitive edge

Dr. Ramon Noguera, EADA’s academic director, was very pleased that the school has received this official International Master Quality status and went on to add that “this distinction bears witness to the excellent work EADA has been carrying out in internationalisation for some years now, addressing the demands of  the corporate world”. Furthermore, Noguera considers that “this recognition helps to position Barcelona and Catalonia as international insignias in the training of managerial profiles".

The criteria according to which EADA has received this distinction were the languages in which the subjects are taught, the faculty’s merits, job placement and the multicultural composition of the classes, among others. These are the same parameters taken into account by the prestigious daily, the Financial Times, for ranking EADA among the world’s top business schools in manager and executive education.
