The general educational objectives of the Master are:

  • to acquire knowledge of organisations, as well as people management and teamwork skills;
  • to have the ability to integrate and apply concepts and techniques for managing people and facing the complexities involved;
  • to be able to develop learning skills and communicate findings, and encourage the development of self-directed or autonomous learning and growth.

 

The coordinating institution for the teaching is EADA Business School Barcelona, which is responsible for managing access, admission and enrollment, as well as the management and safekeeping of students’ records and additional documentation.

Access

Access criteria

You can access a university master's degree if you have:

  1. An official Spanish university degree (regardless of level and duration.)
  2. A degree issued by a higher education institution from another state that is a member of the European Higher Education Area, which in the issuing country empowers access to master's degrees.
  3. A foreign university degree from outside the European Higher Education Area, without requiring its homologation, of a level of training equivalent to an official state university degree and that in the country of origin allows access to postgraduate studies.
  4. If you are currently enrolled in an official undergraduate degree at a university in Spain and have only the Degree Final Project (TFG) remaining to complete your studies, you may apply for conditional admission to a master's programme. To ensure priority is given to applicants who already hold an undergraduate degree, you may only submit your pre-enrolment application and complete conditional enrolment during the final period of the admissions calendar. In order to be eligible for conditional admission, you must provide proof of enrolment in the Degree Final Project and demonstrate that you are in a position to complete your undergraduate degree within the same academic year in which you intend to undertake the master's programme. Under no circumstances can the official university master's degree be awarded unless the official undergraduate degree has been obtained beforehand.

In addition to the general access conditions, each master programme establishes its own specific admission requirements and selection criteria..

Admission requirements

  1. Be a graduate in Economic and Business Sciences; Business Management; Engineering; Psychology; Law and Labor Relations; Tourism; Marketing; Advertising; Communication; and Public Relations. Applicants who do not have the indicated degrees may be admitted to the master's degree, provided that the admission body to the master's degree assesses whether their prior knowledge is adequate through a study of the competencies and content. It may be necessary to complete additional training in statistics, mathematics and/or basic finance before the start of the master's degree.
  2. Pass the aptitude tests.
  3. In order to access the master's degree, knowledge of the English language equivalent to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(CEFR) must be demonstrated.

Selection criteria

If more applications for admission are received than places are available, the following selection criteria will apply:

  1. the degree of adequacy of previous degrees for master studies (25%).
  2. the academic record of the previous studies (25%).
  3. the knowledge of English at level C1 or higher (20%).
  4. the score in the proficiency tests carried out at the stage of admission (10%).
  5. mobility during previous studies (2%).
  6. a personal mission statement by applicants, which must include a description of the personal motivation of the candidate and objectives that prompted the application to the master (3%).
  7. personal interview with the director of the Master program, in which the personal mission statement is commented and the adequacy of the applicant for the master is considered (10%).
  8. the applicant’s interest in the programme (5%).

The admissions Committee of the Master can define and extend these criteria. In any case, the suitability of studies, transcript and linguistic domain will have a combined weight not less than 70%.
