EADA and ISDI launch a Master in Digital Business
Borne out of a joint vision of generating and training digital talent, EADA Business School and ISDI (Instituto Superior para el Desarrollo de Internet) have teamed up to launch a Master in Digital Business, which is aimed at recent graduates who wish to enter the world of digital business with a focus on business leadership. The degree includes a sequence in which the student, upon finishing their ISDI DMBA, will complete their training by participating in EADA’s Leadership programme. This learning journey results in the participant gaining degrees which will accredit them for the Master in Digital Business.
With the launch of this programme in Barcelona, a partnership begins in which two reputable business schools each bring their own complementary specialisation: ISDI’s expertise in digital business training and EADA Business School’s global reputation in the development of management and leadership skills.
Leaders with digital mindset
Continuous innovation and digital transformation require professionals to have an in-depth understanding of how these technologies are changing business models. According to Jordi Díaz, Dean of EADA Business School, “the new digital ecosystem obliges us all to undergo a profound transformation if we want to remain competitive, for both companies and professionals. The collaboration with ISDI is a real opportunity for this to happen.” Nacho de Pinedo, CEO at ISDI points out that, “we can pretend that the new digital scenario will hardly affect us or we can choose to surf the wave of digital change and lead the way. It is important to prepare our future leaders now which means starting to train the younger generations.”
The programme is a 1-year full master which starts in February 2021 in Barcelona. It will be taught in English and includes two degrees: a Digital MBA from ISDI, accredited by ACICS (Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges & Schools) and recognised in USA as well as a degree in Leadership from EADA. Once both programmes have been completed the student will be awarded the Master in Digital Business.
This training proposal will increase the participants’ employability and provide them with a competitive advantage in the job market. They will also have the opportunity to gain work experience in leading companies in their sector such as Accenture, Vodafone, Mapfre or Meliá. At the end of the internship, the companies and students complete a joint evaluation regarding their next career steps which may end up with the participant starting work at the same organisation.
