EADA to train professionals from the car distribution sector
EADA has just launched its Automobile Retail Innovation Programme. It is aimed at business owners and executives from the car distribution sector who are looking to adapt to this transforming sector and would like to discover the new business opportunities arising from this change in paradigm.
EADA’s Automobile Retail Innovation Programme will analise in detail how changes in consumer behaviour such as new habits in mobility have led to a reduction in the urban use of the car. It will also highlight how car dealerships are gradually transforming from product providers to service providers due to changes in car consumption habits.
The programme will also focus on the current and future challenges of the automotive industry: how mobility decisions are increasingly affected by the individual use of digital technology as well as the appearance of important actors from the technology sector in mobility services, which will become a growing trend in the future with the boom in electric cars and driverless vehicles.
The new EADA programme will take place over 3 months (80 class hours) and will be run by Professors David Ortega and Miquel Sentís who both have extensive managerial and training experience in the automotive and mobility sector.
It is also supported by various partners such as CaixaBank Consumer Finance which specialises in consumer credit for the CaixaBank Group. It is also a financial collaborator for more than 13,000 physical points of sale and e-commerce for large distribution brands. The programme is also collaborating with retail businesses from different sectors and car dealerships which support innovation and ongoing training of the main actors of vehicle distribution in Spain. FECAVEM and the Gremi del Motor (employer associations of car distribution and aftersales) are also giving their support to the programme.
