Numintec’s cloud computing platform will help EADA to “move to the cloud”

26 February 2015

Aware of the multiple advantages that cloud computing offers to organisations, especially as regards efficiency, costs and environmental friendliness, EADA has signed a collaboration agreement with Numintec, a telecommunications company specialised in these types of services.

This agreement, which makes Numintec a new partner of the business school, aims to provide intelligent management of customer care services as well as for the organisation’s internal communications. A good example of this is InvoxPBX, Numintec’s virtual contact center, which according to Marco A. Peña, director of the EADA Information Technologies department, “will enable us to do away with the physical call centre and the corresponding maintenance services, simplify the cabling structure and renew the telephony terminals with substantial cost savings in call fees”.

According to Mr Peña, “replacing the infrastructures in telecommunications systems with services in the cloud does not only cut down the time employed in activities with less added value but it also enables us to focus on more strategic actions with a greater impact on commercial processes”. And we haven’t mentioned its environmental impact, given that “the companies that decide to move their business applications to the cloud reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions by over 60%”.

Circulation among our Alumni

However, the agreement signed with Numintec has another great challenge in mind: to spread, reflect and exchange experiences concerning cloud computing among the members of the Business & Technology (BnT) community of EADA Alumni.

“This is a great opportunity to work together and create synergies which will enable the BnT community to get a first hand understanding of experiences in which CIT contribute added value to organisations” states Miquel Espinosa, EADA’s general director. In this respect, he goes on to say, “Numintec’s commitment with CSR and with efficiency in companies is aligned with our strategic objectives and with our policy of bringing the latest innovations in CIT closer to our Alumni network”.
