Access
Access criteria
You can access a university master's degree if you have:
- An official Spanish university degree (regardless of level and duration.)
- A degree issued by a higher education institution from another state that is a member of the European Higher Education Area, which in the issuing country empowers access to master's degrees.
- A foreign university degree from outside the European Higher Education Area, without requiring its homologation, of a level of training equivalent to an official state university degree and that in the country of origin allows access to postgraduate studies.
Apart from the general access requirements, each master has specific admission requirements and selection criteria.
Admission requirements
- Be a graduate in Economic and Business Sciences; Business Management; Engineering; Psychology; Law and Labor Relations; Tourism; Marketing; Advertising; Communication; and Public Relations. Applicants who do not have the indicated degrees may be admitted to the master's degree, provided that the admission body to the master's degree assesses whether their prior knowledge is adequate through a study of the competencies and content.
- Pass the aptitude tests.
- In order to access the master's degree, knowledge of the English language equivalent to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) must be demonstrated.
Selection criteria
If more applications for admission are received than places are available, the following selection criteria will apply:
- the degree of adequacy of previous degrees for master studies (25%).
- the academic record of the previous studies (25%).
- the knowledge of English at level C1 or higher (20%). (This selection criterion is only valid for the Spanish version of the Master, as in the English version it is an admission requirement.)
- the score in the proficiency tests carried out at the stage of admission (10%).
- mobility during previous studies (2%).
- a personal mission statement by applicants, which must include a description of the personal motivation of the candidate and objectives that prompted the application to the master (3%).
- personal interview with the director of the Master program, in which the personal mission statement is commented and the adequacy of the applicant for the master is considered (10%)
- the applicant’s interest in the programme (5%)
The admissions Committee of the Master can define and extend these criteria. In any case, the suitability of studies, transcript and linguistic domain will have a combined weight not less than 70%.
The Master's main objective is to prepare participants to manage people in organisations. It focuses on the mastery of management techniques and tools, the development of interpersonal competencies and acquiring a global vision of the company and its strategic position in the market.
