David Ortega Martínez

David Ortega holds a degree in Business Administration and BBA from the Universidad Internacional de Catalunya (UIC) and Bentley University (Boston), an MBA from IE Business School and a postgraduate degree in General Management (PDD) from IESE. He has recently also graduated in Digital Transformation. During the last 20 years he has combined his experience as a consultant and senior manager in different industries working for both large multinationals and family groups. He has specialized in the automotive and services sector where he has worked for different groups of companies as Deputy to the General Management, CCO and member of the Management Committee (Moventia, Volkswagen, WPP, TUI Travel, BCG) both in its Retail divisions and in the start-up of new Business Units. As a consultant, he has worked for important companies such as the VW Group, Mango, Vodafone, USP Hospitals, CAMGE, Colonial Real Estate, Pronovias, Pepe Travel (Globalia). During the last years he has been secretary of the board of directors of the Gremi del Motor de Barcelona and member of the Top Auto Club. Visiting Professor in DTU (Denmark), CENTRUM (Colombia) and HHL (Germany). He is currently Associate Professor in the Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain Department and Director of Automotive Programs in the Executive Education area of ​​EADA.
