Our joint partner

Bureau Veritas
The programme has been developed in partnership with Bureau Veritas, a world leader in audit and certification services in Environment, Quality, Energy Efficiency among others. It is currently providing support to companies in their transition towards sustainability.
This joint partnership between EADA and Bureau Veritas aims to provide a training programme that boosts sustainability and the transformation of companies and institutions.

Structure of the programme
This 50-hour programme takes place online over a 10-week period with groups of approximately 25 participants.
- 5 modules with synchronous sessions
- 4 e-learning modules in the Virtual Classroom
- 1 roundtable session
- Final project (5 hours work)
- Each participant identifies the sustainability challenge within their company
- Feedback will be sent and received.

Understanding the context
To achieve the goals of the 2030 sustainable development agenda, it is important to understand the environmental and social challenges they pose, as well as the different sustainability frameworks that propose action for reversing the situation.

Evaluating the company’s role
It is important to reflect on the role and purpose of business in society as companies have the potential to use and leverage their resources to generate a positive environmental and social impact.

Identifying the challenge of change
It is important to define the impact areas and indicators before identifying the opportunities for change across the value chain. Understanding the interaction between different impact areas helps to prioritise the proposals for change and accelerate sustainable transformation.

Asynchronous training (e-learning)
Once participants have consolidated their knowledge of the SDGs, the programme will focus on key issues for organisations such as diversity and equality (SDG 5), the life cycle of resources (SDG 12) and climate change (SDG 13). These modules will take place after the synchronous modules.

Faculty

Jorge Molinero
Jorge Molinero holds a bachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology from the University of Barcelona and a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of A Coruña.
As Deputy Managing Director and board member of AMPHOS 21, a scientific consulting firm with approximately 150 employees, he has extensive experience in consulting projects and R&D in sectors such as mining, nuclear waste management, oil, gas and water resources.
He is a former professor of Ground Water Hydrology at the University of A Coruña, the University of Santiago de Compostela and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, and is current guest lecturer in Operations and Supply Chain Management at EADA Business School. He has also been guest speaker or lecturer in various institutions in Europe, Africa, the Americas and Asia.
Jorge was President of the Spanish Chapter of the International Association of Hydrogeologists (AIH-GE), and in 2002 he received the prestigious Alfons Bayó award from the same association. He has also received the Carlos Ruíz Celaá award from the Spanish Association of Mining Engineers for the best research paper on groundwater.

Josep M.Coll
Josep M. Coll is a professor of Strategy, Sustainability and Innovation at EADA Business School, visiting professor at Yonsei University in South Korea, and research associate at Maastricht School of Management.
He works as an independent consultant for a wide range of private and public organisations, such as the European Commission, the United Nations, City Hall in Barcelona and Seoul, global corporations such as Samsung, Posco, Bayer, Almirall Group, Girbau and Amec as well as SMEs and start-up companies. He has worked in over 40 countries.
In the United Nations system, he co-led the first adaptive management model and corporate development assessment in UNFPA. He is regularly invited to speak at international conferences on sustainable transformation and advises organisations, managers and entrepreneurs on the transition to the new sustainable, regenerative and inclusive business paradigm.
He is the author of several books on sustainability, including “Buddhist and Taoist Systems Thinking” (Routledge), “Zen Business” (Profit editorial), Wise Cities (Cidob) and co-author of the book Economía de la Felicidad (The Economy of Happiness, Plataforma editorial).

Desiré Knoppen
Desirée Knoppen holds a PhD from ESADE Business School and a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. She is affiliated to the Zaragoza Logistics Center (MIT-Zaragoza International Logistics Program) as an adjunct professor. Her research focuses on learning capabilities and innovation within supply chains and networks, using case studies and surveys. She has published her research in journals such as Journal of Supply Chain Management, International Journal of Production and Operations Management and Management Learning.
Desirée has extensive consulting experience in Operations and Supply Chain in a wide range of sectors and different countries.
She is currently Director of the Marketing, Operations and Supply Department.

Federica Massa Saluzzo
Federica Massa Saluzzo holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University, a PhD in Strategic Management from IESE Business School, and a post-doctorate from the University of Bologna. She joined EADA in 2016 where she is a professor of strategic management.
Before entering academia, she worked as a strategy consultant. Her research examines how social value is created among stakeholders operating in the same ecosystem and has been published in top journals. Her research interests also include sustainable fashion and social innovation.

Jordi del Bas
Jordi del Bas is an economist specialising in private sector development and has worked as a senior independent evaluator for international organisations (European Commission, several United Nations agencies, and the World Bank, among others), in more than fifty countries worldwide.
He is accredited as a senior evaluation trainer by the Secretariat-General of the European Commission, the head of International Development at the Global Business Research Centre at EADA Business School in Barcelona, and the Adjunct Faculty of the Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands.
He is a visiting professor for the Masters in Development course at the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, and he also conducts lectures for the Global Corporate Strategy course for Executive MBA students at the Nanjing University Business School in China. Since 2016, Jordi Del Bas has been working with EIPA on the design and delivery of a course on Evaluation, and its use in the European Commission. The course is designed for officials involved in the evaluation of European programmes and policies across Directorate- Generals.
