EADA seminars have a practical focus in which we implement methodologies such as:
| Case studies | Case studies are carefully designed to be as similar as possible to the 'real' situations that people are likely to face in the workplace. Working through them together in the seminars is an ideal way to equip participants with the necessary skills to handle similar situations successfully. | | Role plays | This methodology is widely used in management skills and here .Participants learn by simulating a specific role such as negotiation or interpersonal communication. Role play has a tremendous impact on learning, enabling participants to view reality from different perspectives than those they are used to. | | Exercises | In certain subjects like accounting or finance, the teachers design exercises that greatly facilitate the assimilation of subject matter. These exercises may be individual, involve pair work or be carried out in small work teams. | | Working in teams | On certain occasions it is essential to carry out small group projects and exercises. This encourages the need to work in an interdisciplinary manner and develops interpersonal influence capacities. |
Furthermore, it is essential to make the best possible use of available time. That is why written materials such as books, technical notes and articles are available which can contribute to the further development of the topics dealt with during the sessions, depending on each participant's interest and available time.
