Miquel Espinosa Saenz appointed General Director of EADA

Mr. Espinosa will take on his new post in EADA on September 14th.

The new General Director of EADA holds a Degree in Economics and Business Sciences from Universidad de Barcelona and a Master in Financial Auditing from the same University.

Since 1998 Miquel Espinosa has worked in the areas of management and administration in the Higher Education sector where he has held positions of responsibility in frontline Universities in Catalonia.

From 1998 to 2003 he was General Director of the Fundación Politécnica de Catalunya of the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya and in charge of customised training activities for companies.

From 2003 to 2005 he was Administrator of the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona and centred his efforts on adapting the institution to the European Space of Higher Education.

Finally, since 2005 he has been in charge of Administration in the Universidad de Barcelona and among other things has worked on the Institution's Budget Stabilisation plan and on providing new courses within the framework of the ESHE.

The Board of Trustees has highly appraised his knowledge of the Higher Education sector, his prior involvement with public institutions and his expertise at the head of administration teams in other academic institutions.

With this new appointment, the Board of Trustees intends to give continuity to the change-overs begun in 2007 and to consolidate EADA's qualitative positioning on a national and international level.
