"How do banks analyse the company?" was the title of the conference given in EADA last Thursday October 1st by Alejandro Tusell, which was attended by 80 people.
Given that the banking business is based on trust whereby investors rely on the bank to return their money and banks expect to recover their loans from customers, and that this process essentially entails that banking institutions do not make the wrong decisions, this conference outlined the criteria, the tools and the procedures which banking institutions use to analyse a company prior to giving it money.
Alejandro Tusell holds a degree in Pure Philosophy (UB) and in Finance and Upper Business Management (ESADE). He has been a collaborator with Banesto since 1995, where he develops functional criteria for implementing systems for analysis and decision making on loans to SMBs. He has amassed professional expertise in Spanish (BBVA) and International Banking (Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft) as well as in international companies as administration and finance manager.
