From January 12 to 14, Dr. Martin Rahe, research dean of EADA, participated in the 2nd research symposium of the Society of Global Business and Economic Development at the University of Wollongong in Dubai.

Around thirty researchers from the Middle East region as well as around the world presented and discussed projects which dealt with the creation and the economic impact of business clusters. The overall objective is to select a number of projects in order to publish a textbook for classroom teaching. The workshop was co-chaired by Prof Michael Thorpe of College of Graduate Studies, University of Wollongong, Dubai, Prof C. Jayachandran of Montclair University, USA and Prof V. Nagadevara of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
