Business Policy Department

Ruben Llop holds a PhD in Economics and Management from the University of Deusto, a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Barcelona and a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Barcelona. With regard to Executive Education, he has completed the Management Development Program (PDD) and the General Management Program (PDG) at IESE (Barcelona), the “International Management Program” at IMD (Lausanne, Switzerland), the “Top Management Programme” at INSEAD (Fontainebleau, France), the “Advanced Management Programme” in Harvard Business School (Boston, USA) and has obtained a Master in International Trade in the CEDEN (Centre for International Economics, Barcelona). For twenty years, he has developed different managerial responsibilities and has been Chief Executive Officer or Managing Director in the United States, England, Portugal, Spain and some countries in South America in various industrial and service companies. Additionally, he was member of different Boards of Directors (such as Naturgas and Hidroeléctrica del Cantábrico, EDP Group). His main areas of expertise, always in international and multicultural environments, are: Strategic Management, Business Transformation, Change and Crisis Management, Leadership and Contemporary Ethics having various publications (books, book chapters, scientific articles and other publications for non specialized public) and presentations, both at national and international level, about different business and management subjects and on contemporary ethics. He is Professor of Strategy, Leadership and People Management at EADA Business School Barcelona, Visiting Professor at Deusto Business School and works as a consultant or trainer in national and international companies and corporations (among others: Telefónica, Novartis, Medtronic, Boehringer Ingelheim, EDP, Hidroeléctrica del Cantábrico, Naturgas, Magnum Capital Industrial Partners, Mediterranea Capital Partners, Santiveri, etc.).
