Marianne Slotboom holds a Masters Degree in Social and Organizational Psychology (State University of Leiden, The Netherlands) as well as a postgraduate degree in Business Administration and Organizational Strategy (Erasmus University, Rotterdam). She is certified in communication and personal effectiveness methodologies, such as Transactional Analysis, Ned Herrmann (HBDI), Transformational Coaching, Competency Focused Interviewing and Problem Solving (Root Cause Investigator). Marianne is an international consultant and trainer with over 20 years’ experience and provides consultancy, training and coaching services to national companies, multinationals and the European Commission. She is currently a Managing Partner at B & S Business Training and Senior Adjunct Professor at EADA.

David Soler holds an EADA diploma in Marketing and General Management. He began his professional career in Grupo Planeta, where he held various management posts at an international level, related to the areas of Marketing, Sales, Strategy and Management. He has carried out projects and training for companies such as Amat Editorial, European Hydration Institute, RandomHouse Mondadori, Catalunya Radio and Abacus. He is currently a freelance consultant in Digital Strategy, business models and Social Media Marketing. David is Director of the EADA Postgraduate in Online Marketing as well as of the Online Marketing Management and Social Media Skills programmes.

Esther Somoza Rodriguez received a Degree in Industrial Psychology from the Universidad de Barcelona and also holds a Master in Human Resources. She has provided consulting services to various private small and medium sized companies. Her activities at EADA include the teaching of Team and People Leadership and Skills Development in Effective Communication.

Anna Sopena is Practitioner PNL from the Institut Gestalt de Barcelona, Executive Coach from the European School of Coaching Barcelona, ​​3-18 Master of Philosophy from the University of Girona, PDD from IESE, Higher Diploma in Graphology from the School Grafotest Barcelona, Bachelor of Psychology Organizations from UB with a diploma in Nursing from the Santa Madrona University School of Barcelona. He has worked as a nurse for the Generalitat de Catalunya, in departments of selection in companies like El Corte Ingles and Marks & Spencer. He has also worked in HR at Hay Group and Roche Diagnostics. Currently, Anna is senior executive coach and consultant and works as HR director at Dependetu.

Speaker on topics of Banking and Financial Markets. During the past 10 years has worked as a director in various financial institutions.

Gloria Tapias received a degree in Pharmacy from Universitat de Barcelona, and has a postgraduate in Marketing Management and Administration from ESADE plus a postgraduate in Healthcare Policy and Institutional Relations from Instituto de Empresa (IE). In 2013 she completed the Master in Healthcare and Medicine Economics (Pharmacoeconomics) at Universidad Pompeu Fabra. She is currently head of Institutional Relations and market access at Ipsen Pharma.

Carme Tena has a degree in psychology from the UB. She holds a certificate in Ontological Coaching from the Newfield Network (Chile) and trained in Transformational Coaching (Gestalt Institute of Barcelona), Transactional Analysis and Interpersonal Communication Model (Taibi Kahler), Learning in Motion (Rodrigo Pacheco) and Alba Emoting model of emotional induction (Susana Bloch). For six years she was responsible for training in two telemarketing services companies in Spain (Iberphone Catalunya and Marketing Telefónico), which allowed her to specialise in telephone communication and customer service. Since 1996 she has worked independently, dedicated to creating learning spaces for professionals in contact with customers and leading teams. She is currently a personal and organizational coach and training consultant holding workshops in leadership training, team management and teamwork.

David Tomas is Senior Engineer in the Food Industry from the Universitat de Lleida and Master in the Entrepreneur Programme at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA). David has over 10 years of experience in the online world. In 1999 he co-founded the online advertising agency Cyberclick, the first company in Spain to offer interactive results-based advertising and one of the founding companies of IAB Spain. Currently, David Tomas is General Manager at Cyberclick, where he has developed a variety of online advertising campaigns, e-mail marketing, Mobile marketing, etc. He is a member of the executive board of Adigital, the Asociación Española de Economía Digital and the board of Entrepreneurs Organization. David is Lecturer of e-marketing at EADA.

Juanjo Tordera holds a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad de Valencia, has made international studies in Administration and Management at the Aarhus School of Business (Denmark) and he also holds an MBA from IESE. In the professional sector he has experience in management consulting in companies such as Barna consulting Group and Navarro Consultores. In addition, he has participated in projects for Loewe, Dior Natura Bissé, Revlon Professional, Bvlgari, Mercedes-Benz, Gas Natural Fenosa, BBVA, Reale Seguros, Infojobs Italia, Novartis, Nestlé Healthcare Nutrition, etc.

Business Policy

Luis Torras graduated in English Philology and Business Administration from Universitat de Barcelona. He holds a Master in General Management from EADA as well as a Master in Management Development from Haas Business School (University of California, Berkeley). Before joining EADA he worked in the retail industry (SEARS) in U.S.A. and Spain, and in the automotive industry (RENAULT) in France. Luis is an external consultant for AMBA (Association of MBA’s) and has been a board member in several Spanish Companies. He is specialised in CSR and Generational Change in Family Businesses and has written various business cases and collaborated as a writer and conference speaker on many occasions. He was the Director of the Business Policy Department in EADA until July 2013.
