Jose Miguel Martínez-Carrasco has a law degree from the University of Granada and a PhD from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where he works as a professor of business taxation and international taxation. Jose Miguel has developed a strong academic and research record and has had over 30 academic articles and several books on taxation, accountability and tax collection published.
Pep Marí holds a Master in Sport Psychology and a BA in Literature and Phylosiphy by the UAB. In his career as a psychologist has been involved with the Spanish Federation of Hockey in the Olympics Games in Barcelona '92 and the World Championship Sydney '94. He has been the Head of the Department of Psychology at RCD Espanyol in Barcelona and he is currently the Head of Department psychology of Sport CAR in Sant Cugat del Vallés.
Ricard Masip is a Doctor in Psychology (HR & Organisations) from Universitat de Barcelona (UB) and holds a degree in Psychology (Work & Organisations) from UB. He has also taken the HR Management Development Programme at ESADE, the Strategic Management and Change Management Programme (UB) and is accredited in MBTI by OPP. Ricard is the Manager of RM Consulting. He is a consultant in Human Resources Strategies with a systemic, corporate and results oriented approach. He is a specialist in systems for evaluating training and development programmes and has collaborated as a consultant in companies such as: Volkswagen-Audi España, La Caixa, Grupo Santander, Henkel Ibérica, BASF, Grupo Planeta, Laboratorios Inibsa, Grupo Uriach, Zurich Seguros, Bayer, Nissan, Generalitat de Catalunya and Helados Alacant, among others. Ricard is a specialist advisor on the EADA HR Business Partner programme.
Kathy Matilla is Ph.D. in Communication from the Universitat Ramon Llull, senior technician in Public Relations and holds a degree in Art History from the UAB, a master in Marketing from ESADE, MBA from FSE in Brussels and a master in Social Communication from the Universitat Ramon Llull. Professionally, she works as a Consultant in Strategic Planning and Corporate Communications. Kathy is a founding member and coordinator of the Research Group ESTISMA_CCRP-Estrategia and "Issues Management" in Corporate Communication and Public Relations at the Faculty of Communication from the Universitat Ramon Llull, where she also teaches. She is president of the FISEC-Latin American Forum on communication strategies, Board Member of the Dircom Catalunya and the AIRP-Asociación de Investigadores de Relaciones Públicas, as well as from other prestigious associations and institutions.
Jordi Mauri is qualified as a Medical Doctor from the Universitat de Barcelona, he holds a degree in Business Administration from ESADE and a Master's Degree in Health Quality Management from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Jordi has participaded in many publications and conferences, such as writing chapters on business management in health centres. He has been a General and Project Manager for several medical centres including the Hospital Sant Rafael, Fundación Avedis Donabedian and the Centro de Emergencias de Barcelona. He is an associate profesor in EADA and teaches courses on strategy.
Alexis Mavrommatis is an executive graduate from the University of Cambridge (Sustainable Leadership) and Harvard Business School. PhD, and MSc in Retail Management from the University of Stirling. He worked for Carrefour and as a senior consultant for JDV The Retail Company, developing innovative store concepts for retailers and manufacturers (Carrefour, P & G, Coca-Cola, Masterfoods, Eroski). He teaches and researches in the areas of Marketing, Retailing, Multichannel strategies, Sustainability and Entrepreneurship. He has been invited to more than 70 professional and academic conferences, and in 2012 was ranked 33rd Business Professor according to The Economist. His latest academic publication is in the “European Journal of Marketing” regarding on decision making on product elimination.
Javier Meilán holds a Master in Marketing Management from EADA, Management Development from IESE, specialist in Insurance & Healthcare Management from ESADE and Insurance Intermediary. Javier was Commercial Manager and Marketing Manager at Agrupació Mútua and Account Manager at DKV Seguros. Later he created WinMaker Consulting, specializing in the insurance sector. Currently, Javier is adjunct professor specialized in Sales Techniques and Negotiation and combines teaching with his work as consultant.
Operations Management and Information Systems
César Mejía graduated as an Industrial Engineer from Universidad Industrial de Santander and has an EADA Master in Administration Management. After working for 14 years in multinationals, especially in the automobile industry, he began teaching Operations Management which he combined with active consultancy both in Spain and Latin America, where he is frequently invited as a guest lecturer by various business schools. In recent years he has been substantially involved in training teachers on how to use of the case study method.
Pierrre has a PhD in Management from IAE Aix-en-Provence in France. He is Professor of Strategic Management and International Strategy at CERAM Business School in France and visiting professor at several institutions in France, Germany and China.
Olga Milian is qualified in Tourist Companies and Activities from the Universitat de Girona, and has studied Humanities at the UOC and taken the General Management Programme at EADA. She has 25 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, in Spain and other countries, working in different areas including Operations, Marketing and HR. As Training Manager for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. she is qualified as a facilitator of different management programmes and has received the official certificate "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" from the Franklin Covey Institute. She has worked as Director of the EADA Alumni and Career Services departments and she currently lives in Mallorca where she is HR Manager at Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa (Mallorca - Spain).
