II PROJECT & INVESTORS FORUM

The new EADAAlumni Centre of Private Investors was approved by the Board of Trustees in April this year, and forms, together with the Centre of Entrepreneurs, the EADA’S ENTREPRENEURS & INVESTORS CENTRE -for entrepreneur-entrepreneurs and investor-entrepreneurs), a unit designed to promote business both side of the project, the project design and the project investment in those cases that seed capital and the first rounds of investment are require; and promoting the investment of "smart money”, the activity most commonly known as Angels’ Investing.

The new EIC - ENTREPRENEURS & INVESTORS CENTRE is organising on 25 May 201- the II Project & Investors Forum in collaboration with the KEIRETSU FORUM BARCELONA, thus expanding the alliance agreement between the two institutions.

Effective from May 2011, the EADA’S ENTREPRENEURS & INVESTORS CENTRE is in charge of the selection of projects to be presented at the fori of both institutions to provide more and better opportunities to both entrepreneurs and investors, to encourage new business projects among the EADAAlumni both from the point of view of the project-project and the investment-project.

Three types of PROJECTS

At EADA Fori new business projects may be submitted in three formats: New Venture Creation, Start Up Venture and Social Venture (provided that private financing is required) and may be presented in Spanish (eventually in Catalan) and English.

The EIC plans to hold two more forums this year, in September and November, prior to the Keiretsu forums in October and December. If your project is not fully completed, present it to us anyway and together we will analyse it and decide if you need to develop it and see how to help you succeed.

To participate in these fori, at least one of the participants/partners of the project proposal or the investor group must be a member of Alumni or associated with EIC.

The KEIRETSU FORUM www.keiretsuforum.com is an international organization with increased activity in 19 locations around the world that brings together private investors -leading businesses, family offices and individual entrepreneurs- specialised in investing in the early stages of venture projects with high growth potential.

They are identified because they do not only invest or co-invest by supplying cash but also giving support and getting professionally involved in the initial development of the projects, providing advice, expertise and contacts, thus investing something else than just money.

They are investors of "smart money" who regularly attend a "restricted" set of fori for the presentation of business investment opportunities ideas and start-ups that the KEIRETSU professionals have previously found, identified, selected and filtered. Following the presentations, members invest freely, privately and individually in the ventures of their interest, individually or co-investing in small groups.

It is structured as a forum for venture capital to finance both the launching of new projects as well as the development and acceleration of small and medium businesses with high growth potential (Gazelle businesses). In Barcelona and Madrid are operative through KEIRETSU FORUM SPAIN.
